WV Lit Mag is Now Available For Purchase!
WV's very own Creative Writing Club has been hard at work since the fall on this year's literary magazine (which features a variety of writers and artists in grades 9-12). Our staff met weekly via Zoom and created the entire magazine virtually.
This 2020-2021 edition symbolizes the ups and downs of this past year. The creativity and collaboration that went into this magazine is remarkable. ORDER A COPY for only $10: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdTg-IhpYjwP-S7aJoHyMC8QUd-0f-tKnqoT6ctDo0f6dSIgw/viewform
The students on staff opted for a scrapbook theme as we all have "scrapped" a few things from our lives this past year. The magazine begins with a purposeful lack of color and writing/art that deals with uncertainty, frustration, and sadness. BUT it moves into more hopeful and optimistic themes that center around love, community, and perseverance.
In addition, our student staff wanted to dedicate the magazine to Will Burck. Sophomores Elliah Chamberlain (art) and Anika Manelkar (writing) created the magazine's final spread in his honor.
