ISA Testing Mon, May 3 – All Juniors (asynchronous day of learning for FR, SO, SR)
On Monday, May 3, 2021, Indian Prairie Community Unit School District 204 will be administering the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) as mandated by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) to all juniors. On this day freshmen, sophomores and seniors will have an asynchronous day of learning (no zoom or in person classes on May 3). Prior to Monday, teachers will inform students of their expectations for this asynchronous day.
All junior students will be expected to attend school in person and test on May 3rd. Therefore, all juniors have been assigned a testing room. Students can look up their assigned rooms using their student ID number on the WV student splash page: http://www.waubonsiestudent.org/. In preparation for this assessment, on Friday, April 30 science teachers will review important ISA testing information and students will complete the ISA Tutorial.
What to Bring: The ISA will be administered through an online platform, so students should bring: a fully charged Chromebook, a set of non-Bluetooth/wired headphones, photo identification (school id, state id, driver’s license), a mask, and a book to read if they finish early. Please note that cell phones are not permitted in test rooms.
Arrival Time/Dismissal Time: On test day students should plan on arriving at school at 7:10 and proceed directly to their assigned testing room. The test is approximately three hours. Testing will begin promptly at 7:25 am and be completed around 10:30 (students with test accommodations may have a later dismissal time).
