PTA
The Parent Teacher Association at Waubonsie Valley High School
strives to support, promote and provide opportunities for all students,
staff and families by developing a cooperative effort between home,
school, and our community.
Our plans for the upcoming year include the continued support to our
traditional PTA programs. Refer to our "Where does the money go?"
link above for details. We will continue to support
our students and staff with educational enhancement materials and
building improvement through our Grant program. All paid PTA members
receive a copy of the WVHS Student Directory in the Fall.
The seniors will be recognized by the PTA with our Scholarships, Senior
Sailabration, graduation signs and roses. Last year we were fortunate to
offer 11 $1,000 scholarships. Our hopes are that the fundraising efforts
will allow us to continue this great success!
To join PTA, simply print out the membership form from Downloadable
documents, and return with your membership dues cash or check made out

Meetings
Our PTA meetings are held monthly at 7:30pm
at the Green Campus in the LMC (dates below). Anyone is invited to attend our
meetings. Only PTA members may vote or hold an elected office. Many
times we will have guest speakers or performers at the beginning of our
meetings.
