PTA
The Parent Teacher Association at Waubonsie Valley High School
strives to support, promote and provide opportunities for all students,
staff and families by developing a cooperative effort between home,
school, and our community.
Our plans for the upcoming year include the continued support to our
traditional PTA programs such as lending a hand in our LMC, staffing the
Career Center and Freshman Reality Store. We will continue to support
our students and staff with educational enhancement materials and
building improvement through our Grant program. All paid PTA members
receive a copy of the WVHS Student Directory in the Fall.
The seniors will be recognized by the PTA with our Scholarships, Senior
Sailabration, graduation signs and roses. Last year we were fortunate to
offer 10 $1,000 scholarships. Our hopes are that the fundraising efforts
will allow us to continue this great success!

documents, and return with your membership dues cash or check made out

national levels to protect and serve the needs of our children.

Meetings
Our PTA meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm
at the Green Campus in the LMC. Anyone is invited to attend our
meetings. Only PTA members may vote or hold an elected office. Many
times we will have guest speakers or performers at the beginning of our
meetings.
