  • Junior Varsity: 4-2-2 Overall
  • Sophomore: 4-2 in Conference,  7-2 Overall
  • Sophomore B: 6-1 Overall
  • Freshman A: 6-0 in Conference, 8-1 Overall
  • Freshman B: 2-5-1 Overall

The Varsity season ended with a two game winning streak to finish at 5-4 overall and 3-3 in the conference.  We re-established our home field advantage by going 4-0 at home.  In fact, all three levels went undefeated at home.  The Warriors were a young team this year, starting 14 underclassmen.  Although the varsity was one point short of making the play-offs, the future looks bright.  The young varsity should get better each week as evidenced by their final two games in which they beat East Aurora 49-7 and Freeport 21-7 in must win situations.

The 2005 Varsity Football Team finished the regular season at 5 – 4 overall and 4 – 2 in the conference finishing in 5th place. The team lost in the first round of the IHSA play-offs to Wheaton Warrenville South.

The coaches are pleased with the progress that was made during the season. Although our record isn’t where we want it, we overcame a lot of adversity in order to qualify for the IHSA play-offs. The seniors have laid the foundation for future success. All of our levels now know the meaning of a championship pace. It is now up to the players to take up the challenge of continuing to work hard in the off-season. We thank our seniors for their hard work and leadership. The coaches look forward to watching our underclassmen develop.

The Freshman A and B teams both finished with an 8 – 1 overall record. Four of those wins were victories over Neuqua and Wheaton Warrenville South. The athletes were a pleasure to work with and the freshman coaches look forward to following their progress in the future.
