Immunization Records
All colleges require immunization records before enrolling. You will receive a copy of your immunization records with your diploma after the graduation ceremony on May 28. They may also be obtained from the WVHS school nurse before June 18. Call the Health Office at 375-3350 with any questions. Please discuss with your doctor the need for the meningococcal vaccine before your student starts college. This prevents a form of meningitis.

Selective Service
Many males are about to turn 18. It's probably the last thing on your mind, but there's one thing you've got to do - register with Selective Service. Many of you will receive a registration card in the mail a few weeks before your birthday. Just fill it out, put a stamp on it and send it back, call the 800 number on the post card, stop by the post office and fill out a card there, or register online. That's all there is to it. It only takes five minutes and it makes you eligible for federal jobs, job training and federal student loans. So remember, within 30 days of your 18th birthday, take a minute to register with Selective Service.
