In The Upstate Eight Conference, WVHS has won 120 Individual Conference Titles and 39 Relay Titles to give a total of 276 Conference Champions in the UEC.
WVHS Varsity has won 14 UEC team titles - Six outdoor and EIGHT indoor.
WVHS has claimed a 2nd place finish 21 times. Eleven outdoor and ten indoor.
The Junior Varsity team has won 9 Conference titles.

In the Little Seven Conference, WVHS claimed 26 Individual Conference Titles
and 11 Relay Titles to give a total of 70 Conference Champions in the LSC.
WVHS claimed one LSC team title and finished 2nd four times.

Girls track and field finished 8th for indoor conference. Outdoor conference was cancelled due to poor weather. At Sectionals we finished 8th. State qualifiers include Anna Klaus pole vault, Ajah Huges discus and Ashley Bruner mile. The 4x400 Relay also qualified with Brion Hughes, Allison Wilson, Tatianna Moore, and Alyssa Post.

2012

Varsity: 5th in Conference, 10 in Sectionals, 16th in State
JV: 4th in Conference

Morolake Akinosun is the Indoor 55 Dash State Champion, state record holder, and fastest high school athlete in the nation in the 55. She was also the Indoor 200 Dash Champion, state record holder, and number one in the nation on flat tracks. She also won the IHSA 100 Meter Dash for the outdoor season where she claimed the state record, second fastest in the nation, and 41st fastest among all U.S. women. She also placed third in the 200 Meter Dash.
