Early Childhood Community Resource Fair – Free to All Families –
Planned for Oct. 13
The fourth annual Early Childhood Community Resource Fair will take place 9 a.m. until noon, Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Prairie Children Preschool, 780 Shoreline Drive, Aurora. More than 30 community resources will be available for families raising children between the ages of birth through five years. The fair is free of charge. Collaborating with Naperville School District #203 and Indian Prairie School District #204 are the following organizations: Positive Parenting DuPage, DuPage Health Department, DuPage Children’s Museum, Project H.E.L.P. and Illinois StarNet.
“We live in a community that offers many, many services to young families and the Community Resource Fair provides an easy way for parents to explore what is available for them,” said Sally Osborne, principal of Indian Prairie Preschool in District #204.
The early years are an important time to put kids on the road to success. Our Community Resource Fair is a first stop for parents looking for answers to tough questions about their kids. When moms and dads, and caretakers learn about all the support available, they can make wise choices for their families,” added Eugenia Matula, principal of Ann Reid Early Childhood Preschool in Naperville School District #203.
