Senior School Day SAT Testing - Wednesday, September 23rd

Please note that on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, all 12th grade students will be administered the College Board SAT (with essay). Students are automatically registered for the assessment by Waubonsie Valley High School & District 204. This School Day SAT takes the place of the spring SAT that was canceled last school year. Waubonsie Valley is working to ensure that safety protocols and social distancing precautions are put in place for all testers and proctors.

Participation in this assessment is a requirement for high school graduation in Illinois. Makeup dates will be offered later in the school year for students who are unable to test. It is anticipated that results will be available by October 15th to provide students with a college reportable score prior to the common early admissions deadline of November 1st.

Students are encouraged to provide their own transportation on test day. District bussing will be provided for students who require transportation.

The College Board SAT assesses reading, writing, language and mathematics reasoning focusing on knowledge and skills predictive of college and career readiness and success. The core classes prepare students for the SAT assessment. Students are also encouraged to access Khan Academy for additional practice.
