April 9th SAT/PSAT Testing

Reported by webmaster@ipsd.org on 3/18/19

On Tuesday, April 9th, Indian Prairie Community Unit School District 204 will be administering the College Board SAT Suite of Assessments at all High Schools. Freshman students will complete the PSAT 8/9, Sophomores students will complete the PSAT 10, and Junior students will complete the SAT (with essay). Please see the attach letter for additional details on the SAT Suite of Assessments.

This week, all Sophomores will receive a copy of the PSAT 10 Student Guide and all Juniors will receive a copy of the SAT Student Guide in their English class. The guides may also be viewed at the links below. The guides include important test preparation information, practice test questions, and details on how to send test scores to colleges and universities. We highly recommend that students review the guide prior to test day. Freshmen students will not receive a hard copy of the PSAT 8/9 guide, however the guide may be accessed via the link below:

Tuesday, April 9th will be an early dismissal day with Freshmen & Sophomores taking the PSAT being dismissed at 11:30 am and Juniors taking the SAT at 1:00 pm. This is a non-attendance day for Seniors. Seniors are encouraged to use this day to finalize their post-secondary plans.

On Thursday, April 4th students will receive specific information on test day details in their respective English class. It will be important for students to be present on both April 4th and April 9th (test day). Thank you for your support. Please feel free to contact myself and/or your child’s guidance counselor should you have any additional questions concerning the SAT Suite of Assessments.
