Course Selection for 2019-20 School Year

Reported by on 1/7/19

The Warriors and future Warriors of Waubonsie Valley are about to begin the very important process of Course Selection for the 19-20 school year. We urge all students and parents to dig deep into the Course Selection Process to ensure their four year plan at Waubonsie can best prepare them for their future goals!

During their English class on Wednesday, January 9th, current students will receive a "Tip Sheet" that provides prompts toward requesting courses. Throughout the school week, Math, Science, Social Studies and English teachers will share with students their Core Recommendations for the student’s "next step". Core Recommendations can be seen by parents/students inside of Home Access Center starting January 15th. On January 10th, many classes will participate in Course Exchange Day. Course Exchange Day is an opportunity for students to visit other classes in order to learn more about their academic & elective options for next year. A full schedule of Exchange Day events can be found on the Beat.
